Sad reality of India : A young nation led by an aging leadership.

India is a nation governed by a predominantly older political class. This significant age gap creates a disconnect between the priorities of the people and the focus of the policymakers.

Youth Population (15–29 years)almost ~27% of total population and Population under 35  ~65% of India’s total population

Lok Sabha (2024)
🔹 Average age 56 years
🔹 MPs under 40 years ~12% only

Rajya Sabha:
🔹 Average age ~62 years

This age gap creates a disconnect in policy making and implementation — while the youth want jobs, skills, innovation, and climate action, much of policymaking is still focused on legacy concerns.

Political debates focus more on religion, identity, or caste, rather than economy, education, or mental health.

Freebies and short-term appeasement still the main area of the focus instead of sustainable development.

India’s demographic dividend now becoming a potential disaster if not guided well. Still there is time to change.

But policy makers are in no urgency around emerging global challenges like AI disruption, climate migration, or green energy transition and adoption of fast moving skill training and upgrading the education system.

We need a fresh air. A new political regime governed by College pass out fresh graduates all over India. If the 65% population doesn’t wake up, the Top 1% will continue accumulating wealth and aged living in past orthodox mindset politicians will rule over us.

We shouldn’t give any room for debating daily on Religion, Linguistics. We have to debate on our Future.

✅ Where does our Tax goes ?
✅ Why we get poor infrastructure ?
✅ Why government schools are being shut
✅ Why no improvement in government education
✅ Why no regulation and regularity in recruitment
✅ Why no visible policy on Air Pollution, Transport and City Drainage & Water logging

The more we let those Political dilemmas sit on us we can’t ask the Question for the Rights we deserve.

And it doesn’t matter whom you vote, not asking questions whom you vote is the biggest Sin modern democracy inflicted among the citizens.

Why shouldn’t I ask for my rights whom I elected.
